Small dining room. Sometimes takes a while to order or get my order but if it was not Good food then they would not be busy. Worth waiting for from time to time, more times than not... very quick and accurate. Very fresh ingredients. Love it here for years.

There was no breakfast and the chicken fajita plate that i ordered had no flavor. The beans had no flavor and in order to eat the rice, well you had to kill it with salsa. At least that was good. Sorry.

Food is absolutely amazing real authentic Mexican food and thats coming from us people from south texas!

We love the Marks Nachos. Everyone e is like d and the man who owns it is usually there and checks on you and also serves. Seems like he’s in it 100%. Love the enchiladas, too.

A small Texmex place in the middle of Leakey. The waitress was super friendly and the service relatively fast. The food for most everyone was mediocre. The meat was overcooked, the chips were stale, and the salads uninspired. The bathrooms were clean.

Loved the tacos y salsa. I am from Austin so, that is all you need to know. Eat here when you visit Garner State Park.

Go here every year following my family vacation. It is a tad small, but overall, good food. I have to admit though, their burgers are below average and tiny. Just go with the mexican food here.

Had a simple bean and cheese tostada plate with guacamole. The beans (house made, I confirmed) were some of the best I've ever tasted. Simple foods prepared to perfection.

Fantastic! We stopped in for dinner and we're craving some Tex Mex. This truly hit the spot! Service was stellar and food came out super fast. We had cheese enchiladas, flautas, tacos, and chalupa/taco/enchilada plate. All of it was so tasty and absolutely made from scratch. Some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. We highly recommend this place!

Food was fine. Service started out poorly-dirty tables sat empty while we stood waiting for 15 minutes. I can be patient when I see a business is slammed, but a greeting goes a long way to facilitate that patience. Once we were seated, service was great.

Food was delicious, Sopapillas (Cinnamon fried flatbread with melted butter and real honey) were amazing, outdoor dining was relaxing, clean restrooms, fast service, la comida Esta deliciosa, no esperaba que iba estar tan sabrosa.

My enchiladas were excellent, my husband really liked his fajita tacos, and the chips/salsa/quest were great. Great service as well.

Homemade enchilada sauce, family owned looking place, with attentive prompt staff. Tips means to insure prompt service and that us what you get here. The best item we saw was the Daves homemade burritos a hot combination and mix of enchilada sauce and tender carne guisada. A meal for even the most hearty appetites.

Extremely efficient and courteous service. Quaint place right off the main highway. The food was yummy and the price was right. Will make this a regular stop whenever we're in town!

This is a very popular place in Leakey to eat. The waitress was running the entire time. It took a bit of time to take our order but the food came out very quickly and was very good!

Hands down, BEST Mexican food in Texas!! The service was great and the owner was extremely pleasant and even made sure our glasses stayed filled. I had the chimichangas and my husband had the enchiladas. So delicious!! We would drive the 5 1/2 hours just to eat here again!!

Swung in on a whim. Delicious. We ordered Paul’s Peppers & Taco Salad. Boom, happy tummy.

Great food at a good price. The place is small but there are a few picnic tables outside that can accommodate a bigger group.

Absolutely our favorite Mexican restaurant in Texas! We make it a pony to eat here anytime we visit Leakey! They have the best cheese enchiladas! Love it! Wonderful little place!

For a little restaurant this place goes hard!! For those that don’t know what that means this place is super delicious. I got the carne guisada with just rice and the meat was so soft and both had a lot of flavor. The staff were very helpful and friendly and got our food right away.

I don't know if I went to the same restaurant as everyone giving favorable reviews, because mama choles for me was maybe one of the worst restaurants in texas, possibly the world. Food was hot, but not good at all, salsa was flavorless, the burgers were small, the carne asada looked like diarrhea and the tortillas were store bought. Also they get extra points for having an outdoor bathroom, the inability to get separate checks and the walk from around the corner where you have to park. In summation, In a party of 9 people(4 of whom where hungover) who hadn't eaten all day, not one person finished their food, just picked at it.

Had the Carne Gasida burrito. It was melt in your mouth delicious. The enchiladas were on point. Every thing was great. If your in area worth the stop!

Tacos Al carbon were very good. Great food stop while on our Frio trip.
